My first attempt at locs failed woefully. It was the year 2017, in May precisely. A lovely Loctician called Natasha had started them with two-strand twists. Unfortunately, at month 5, I was very unhappy with them and cut them all off.
I spent the first few months of 2018 considering what else to do with my hair, while grooming a little ‘fro. I decided I didn’t love combs and was going back to locking my hair.
And so March 2018, I decided it was time again. I asked a hairdresser friend to braid my hair in medium size single plaits this time. As they slowly matured, I realised that patience was what I needed and regretted cutting of my locks earlier. I learnt the value of loving my hair through everything and I haven’t looked back since then.
I celebrated one year of being locked in March. It’s been a great journey and I’m simply enjoying the freedom and versatility locs give me. I’m happy to be living a comb-free life.
The Mary Kay TimeWise Tone-Correcting Serum was released to the UK market in January 2016. It promises to reduce the appearance of dark spots and generally deliver a more even skin tone.
All skin tones can benefit from this serum, and its been developed to address dark spots resulting from sun damage, freckles, hyperpigmentation, and any form of skin discolouration.
Daily use is recommended, morning and evening. Since it is a serum, you use it first, after your cleansing and toning regime but before your day/ night cream and moisturizer. Dab on sparingly and gently spread to cover all affected areas.
In Mary Kay TimeWise steps, This would be- 1) Mary Kay 3-in-1 Cleanser, 2) MK Tone-Correcting Serum, 3) Day Solution / Night Solution (Depends what time of day you’re in ), and lastly, 4) MK Age Fighting Moisturizer.

Have fun looking beautiful,
A few folks like me love the Mary Kay brand but have limited time to find what we need, amidst the hundreds of available beauty solutions. As a Beauty Consultant, I attempt to guide Mary Kay lovers by giving them pointers to the products they love and need, and if possible supply them within 72 hours.
Of course, much of my experience comes from using and loving the products, and after 8 good years of bliss as a satisfied customer, I decided to market the products myself. I have enjoyed the journey so far, and now seek to be of help to other users too.
My aim is to be quite direct, keeping it short and sweet. Welcome aboard the Pinksy Planet.
